Paige Cecchi
Paige Cecchi graduated magna cum laude from Pace University with a B.S. in Business Economics in 2015. During her undergraduate studies, Paige launched her first company SheerStock, won the 10th Annual Pace Pitch Contest, and secured additional funding through the Ted and Pat Levine Entrepreneurship Grant. Paige was also part of the SIFE team that won a spot at the Regional competition and participated on the Federal Reserve Challenge Team that placed nationally. She wrote her Pforzheimer Honors College thesis on The Economics of Cannabis Legalization in Colorado which sparked her interest in joining the growing cannabis industry.
After graduation, Paige moved to Colorado to expand her network and learn first-hand how adult-use regulations were rolling out across the state and influencing the future of legalization. A fierce networker who embraces opportunity, she has served as a trusted strategic advisor, confidant, and source of industry expertise for over 6 years. Her diverse skillset has supported a wide range of consulting roles that vary from treating animals with cannabis to inventing a consumption device inspired by a tube of mascara. Her work has taken her to Prague, Barcelona, Hong Kong, and every major trade show in between where she has hosted some of the best attended industry events. As an angel investor Paige creates positive social change by investing in passionate entrepreneurs who are leading the way as cannabis enters the mainstream – from investing capital to helping with business plan creation, launch planning, branding and more.
Paige currently serves as a Corporate Development and Mergers and Acquisitions consultant for TerrAscend, a public multi-state operator (MSO) with operations in Canada, California, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. In the two years since she has been with the firm, she worked to secure a coveted vertically integrated license in New Jersey and her team has closed acquisitions in excess of $250M+ in value.
Paige is pursuing her M.S. degree in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics through the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s inaugural program and will graduate in May 2021.
