Description
This workshop will focus on learning the tools in Adobe Photoshop and a few design principles in the context of being able to create flyers, logos, and other useful marketing tools. We will also cover a few tools in Adobe Illustrator and how Illustrator can be a useful tool.

Julie Gauthier
Julie Gauthier is a sophomore computer science major in the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems. Besides being a full-time student, Julie works for Seidenberg Creative Labs Research and Development as a web and mobile developer and designer, as well as teaching Lego robotics at the Chapin School. She has also been managing a few freelance jobs in web design for local restaurants and venues, and working on developing an augmented reality system for a team at Aalto University in Finland. Julie has experience in HTML/CSS, PHP, Java, jQuery mobile, javascript, Ruby on Rails, Photoshop/Illustrator, and user experience and design. She has been focusing on creative ideas for web development, and is very grateful for the chance to put her skills to the test and develop something great!
