Most of us have waited in some kind of line at some point or another. In some situations, it is unavoidable. But we believe that if you are paying 60 bucks to attend a sporting event, you should not have to miss any of the game to wait in line for a beer or hot dog. Our app “OrdrIT” eliminates lines at concession stands.
The average amount of time it takes to order concessions, have your order filled and then finally pay takes about 50 seconds to one minute. So each person you tack on to the line adds another minute to your wait in line and is another minute you’re not watching the game.
Our app allows you to choose your food and pay for it right from your seat. Then you get two options. The first is to have your food delivered right to your seat so you would literally not miss one second of the action or you could choose to be alerted when your order is filled and then you can go pick it up at an express lane.
OrdrIT was created with ease of use and intuitiveness kept in mind throughout the entire design process. It’s very simple. Once launching the app, the end-user will be prompted to select which venue they are at or the app will locate which venue they are currently at using the phone’s location services (if enabled). Next, the end-user is prompted to select from the variety of concession offerings at that particular venue. The end-user then simply chooses what food they would like and adds their selections to their “cart.” The end-user can then “checkout” and pay with a credit/debit card (saved in their OrdrIT account for easy one-click payment) or with a university student card (if they’re at a university sporting arena, ie. Syracuse University’s Carrier Dome). The enduser’s order is then sent to the concession stand to be fulfilled and ready for pick-up or delivery. The end-user will be notified once their order is ready. It’s fast, simple, and easy for both the end-user and the venue to use.
Casey Loeber is a freshman from Pace University New York. He is currently majoring in Finance, but is interested in expanding his studies into the field of technology. He is a full-time student and expects to graduate in 2016. Casey works for Innovative Delivery Systems as a social marketing intern. The company has developed a mobile application called OrdrIt that allows spectators at athletic venues to order concessions from their smart phones and have them delivered to their seats.

The user submits form based on the need. After the forms are submitted they are complied into an excel spreadsheet. Suppose John Doe wanted to trade book A for book B. John would fill out the trade form and the book info, his name, and email would be sent to me. Suppose that Jane Doe has book B (the book that John Doe wants), but wants book A (the book John Doe has). Jane and John can make a trade. When there is a match within our database of forms. Both parties will be contatced and told that a trade can be made. They will get the other persons name and email. Basically, the app brings the people together to be better off. Buying and Selling works in the same way. Textbooks are expensive, flyers are inefficient within campus, and there are no other sites that are as easy. PaceBook is easy to use, simple, and free.
The apps design is relatively simple and it is user friednly. It is effective and a great way for students on the NYC campus to trade, buy, and sell their books.

As an entrepreneur and businessman, he loves what he does and is strongly driven by a passion to succeed.
Pace-U-List is a social-network application that provides all Pace University students, undergraduate and graduate, and faculty up-to-the-minute information about events that have free food and other give-always at each Campus. The goal of this app is to encourage students to interact with one another, be active in Pace’s campus life, and to take advantage of anything that they can get for no cost. As college students, not all of us have jobs or paying internships; we are always on the lookout for free Pace events!
The app is easy to navigate and the design is clean and simple. The app has five screens: a “Welcome” screen, a “Campus” screen, an “Action Feed” screen, a “News Blast” screen, and a “Location” screen. Each screen provides students and faculty precise information about where free current and upcoming events are located.
Pace-U-List is the solution for the Pace community to be more involved and enjoy more of what Pace has to offer!
Michelle Davret is a junior at Pace University’s New York City campus. She is working towards a dual degree in Communications and Commercial Dance. Last year, she was introduced to graphic design through her work-study position as the Student Assistant Graphic Designer in Pace’s Marketing & Communications department.
She is a sister of Sigma Delta Tau and is active in Pace’s campus activities. She has interned at Mackage and La Fiorentina, which are two high-end fashion companies. This summer she plans to study abroad at Florence University of the Arts in Florence, Italy.
Past graphic design projects include posters and postcards for Graduation, Scholarships, and Pace opportunities, editing brochures for all Pace University schools and campuses, and the 2012-2013 Calendar for the New York City and Pleasantville campuses.
David Tryk is Pace University’s multimedia designer for the Marketing and Communications Department. He is a member of a team of designers, writers and production staff responsible for designing innovative print and web marketing materials for the University.
David is one of the designers responsible for designing the University’s Undergraduate and Graduate Viewbooks for print and also helped to develop the interactive online complement which includes embedded flash files, interactive maps, embedded video and hyperlinks. He also creates web banners for Pace.edu using Photoshop, Flash and embedded Youtube videos as well as programing custom designed HTML emails to market various events around the university. Experienced in designing for a wide range of audiences and needs, David’s portfolio also includes print and web pieces for clients including Scholastic, Credit Suisse, Victoria’s Secret, NY Botanical Garden, and Bear Stearns.
David holds a Bachelor’s of Visual Communication from Collins College and is an advocate for good design.
Right now when a user picks up their phone to send a message to another person they have to make a few choices. They have to decide if they want to send the message by using the phones built in SMS application or by one using one of their other messaging applications, such as Google Talk or Facebook Messaging. If they chose to use another messaging app they have to deal with the hassle of seeing which if any messaging service the recipient is signed into. If then they do start a conversation using anything other than SMS and either person loses internet connectivity, the thread of the conversation is lost and they are forced to switch to basic SMS to continue it. This means that a single conversation could be split up into multiple messaging applications and becomes impossible and frustrating to follow.
Seamless Messagingis an Android specific messaging application that takes away the hassle of juggling multiple messaging applications and combines them all into one simplified stream. Seamless Messaging allows users to connect their SMS, Google Talk and Facebook messaging clients together in order to send messages through one application instead of three. It filters all of the content from these different services through our messaging application. By using Seamless Messaging to manage your text based messaging services Seamless Messaging will automatically chose which messaging client to send the users messages by, depending on your and the recipient’s online status. This allows for fast paced IM type conversations when internet connectivity is available and dependable SMS messaging for when it is not. An entire conversation is stored in one stream so the thread of a conversation is never lost when switching between messaging clients and the hassle of deciding which client to use is removed, as Seamless Messages makes all the decisions for you. Seamless Messaging takes the built in Android messaging client and updates it to where it should already be today. One simplified user experience for sending and receiving any and all text based messages, no hassle and no confusion.
Peter Franceschini is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Pace University in New York. He is interested in mobile application development, particularly for Android devices. He has previously designed various applications that have allowed him to compete overseas in both Barcelona Spain and Cape Town South Africa as well as at multiple competitions here at Pace University. Currently Peter is the Co-Founder and CEO of Think Apps LLC amobile application development and design company, specializing in mobile application production.
John Robb is a sophomore from Pace University New York planning to double major in Communications and Art. He has been interested in Graphic design and Communications for years, where he has applied his skills in the classroom, in projects, and now in a mobile application. After this experience, John will go even further into studying and practicing design for other mobile applications.
Stress is the leading cause of hypertension, diabetes, infertility, and sleep disorder, not to mention lost productivity and low morale. In 2011, $2 million funding was given by a venture company to create the new stress app. Stress apps are very popular but have not been successful yet.
The StressMeNot Application is an app that tests for stress level. Current apps that test stress use a dial to show the results. Dials are not user friendly.
When we see a dial we do not feel anything. StressMeNot app replaces the dial with three distinct emoticons. Moreover the emoticons are interactive. It sprouts out sayings to you, It changes form from day to day and it makes the stress testing experience much more enjoyable, which in turn may reduce stress. This app is made for amusement purposes and is not supposed to cure stress but rather make it easier on those who are stressed.
Shiemi’s goal in life is to create value, from her professional, to her academic, to her personal life. While others are thinking about creating that Next Big Thing, Shiemi believes that cumulative small changes are what can result in breakthrough ideas. In her work, Shiemi seeks personalization and simplicity to organize our ever increasingly cluttered society. And her curiosity and flexibility allows her to recognize and easily adapt to rapidly changing environments.
Shiemi is working towards an MBA Marketing Management degree at Pace University. She leads Lubin Graduate Marketing Association, Lubin’s marketing club. She did her Undergraduate at Parsons School of Design. She has been interviewed by CNNMoney, and her work has been featured in the NY Times.
Tic-Trac is a mobile app that creates transparency between property management companies, their maintenance staff and tenants. The app is used by all three parties to ensure that maintenance issues are resolved accurately and in a timely manner.
Tenants can utilize the app to report a maintenance issue, check on the status of a previously reported issue and report back to the property management company ensuring maintenance tickets are completed.
The maintenance team can use Tic-Trac to easily organize their day; they can choose the order of importance, know what supplies need to be purchased for their jobs and be alerted of new issues immediately while in the field.
Property management can use the app to ensure their maintenance staff is resolving tenant complaints, log recurring issues to find better long term solutions and keep tighter controls over unnecessary maintenance spending.
This app will function cross platform allowing all parties to utilize the app regardless of their carrier or operating system. The app will utilize push notifications to alert maintenance and property management simultaneously of new tickets as well as to let tenants know a time frame that maintenance will be around to work on a ticket.
Tic-Trac aims to revolutionize the tenant-landlord relationship, putting the tenant in closer touch while allowing the landlord greater control over maintenance operations.
James Cook is a first year Graduate Student at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University in White Plains. He is a full time student pursuing an MBA in accounting with an anticipated graduation of May 2015. Mr. Cook comes to Lubin from the hospitality industry. After seven years of progressive hotel management experience he has returned to school to further his education and to spark his entrepreneurial spirit. Mr. Cook holds a Bachelors of Science in Communications Mass Media from The State University of New York at Plattsburgh. In his free time he enjoys skiing, golfing, fishing and traveling.
We Go Together is an app that will help people to arrange and share their schedules. People will be able to fill in their own schedules to see when they have free time to go explore local businesses with friends. It will also show users when their friends are available to go out. It can help people to effectively arrange business meetings, schedule employees for work, and find friends in classes.
This app will also provide a listing of places and events to go to. There will be one list for upcoming local events, one for restaurants, and one for other fun destinations in the area. This will allow local businesses to advertise and get their information out to people in the area.
Users will be able to see if any of their friends need to run the same errands, such as grocery shopping, as them, so that they might be able to look at each other’s schedules and arrange a time to go. They will also be able to see if any of their friends would like to go to the same place they would like to check out. Users will be able to send out direct invitations to specific people, or express interest by posting on a forum-like board where they might be interested in going.
Being able to see one another’s schedules on a social network will allow bosses to see when their employees are working or are available to work, and organizations to find a good meeting time for the majority of their participants. It will also be easy for organizations to invite their members to events and watch them put the time into the schedule.
